Kingdom Hearts
Is a game developed by Square Enix, released back in 2002, with the originally doubtful combination of Final Fantasy and Disney characters, which eventually proved to be successfully enough that, to date, there are five current games in the series. Sora is a normal fourteen year old boy, living on an island of solitude with his friends Riku and Kairi. That is, until he obtains the keyblade, then travels around alternate disney-worlds with his friends Donald & Goofy to seal the keyholes there, and to rescue his childhood friend, Kairi. And also, to learn more about the sinister plot Ansem has with the heartless along the way.
Oathkeeper
Is a keyblade that we first see appear at the end of Kingdom Hearts, after Kairi gives her charm to Sora (essentially, a new keychain is unlocked). It is also availiable for Sora near to the end of Kingdom Hearts II. Oathkeeper, along with Oblivion, also holds plot significance in being one of Roxas' two true Keyblades: perhaps because it represents his light, whilst Oblivion represents the darkness.
Why
Oathkeeper is my favourite Keyblade out of Kingdom Hearts. Not simply always for its use, but it usually becomes my default through much of the game - it ups all your stats equally, providing a good boost all round. During Kingdom Hearts II, it was the first keyblade I switched to, since the others held no appeal or the stats were relatively unequal. Also is the story behind its existence and just who uses it and why. I think it's sweet, the idea it's from Kairi's paopu charm that she gave Sora. Also, because it's one of Roxas' true keyblades. I even bought a domain name after him and his Keyblades! So naturally I love these things.
